چکیده

This paper deals with the use of high Performance Thin layer Chromatography with sensitive spray reagents for detection and identification of poisonous plants in autopsy tissues. This laboratory has received human as well as cattle cases with history of death due to ingestion of poisonous plant material in various forms. There can be legal quarries regarding detection and identification of these poisonous plants, which a forensic expert has to answer.
